I called numerous places for a quote on my kitchen remodel and Affinity was prompt in their response. Les came out to my home the next day and provided me with a quote that was reasonable and within my budget. There were no surprises with regards to extra costs. Les made several trips out to ensure everything was on schedule and the work was completed to satisfaction. The workers were on time, polite, professional and made me feel at ease. I love my new kitchen and would greatly recommend Les and Affinity!

They tell a great story until they start taking your money. We were assigned a project manager, who then quit the company and we were not informed and a new project manager was not assigned. After weeks of e-mails, text messages and leaving voicemails, we found out a week before our project was scheduled to start that he was gone and that none of the trades had been scheduled. It also seemed that he had left without leaving notes or instructions for anyone in the company, or otherwise that no one at the company took the time to inform themselves, so we essentially had to repeat ourselves over and over to one person after another. Our project went well beyond the projected timeline - costing us extra time off work, and meaning that we lived in a construction zone with our toddler. The trades who were sent did not know what they were to do, did not have the requisite tools or supplies, sometimes did not show up at all, were scheduled in the wrong order so frequently had to come back repeatedly to actual do their work. Additionally, when it came to invoicing, they were unable or unwilling to provide any supporting documents to explain the charges from places like Home Depot. Ultimately, their services are FAR from perfect in spite of the name.

As a designer, I really appreciate Affinity’s professionalism and quality of customer service. They offer reliable turnkey painting and handyman services that I can trust for my clients. My clients are raving about their work and so am I. These guys are the best!

Elysha and her team Frank and Susan did wonderful jobs for my bathroom renovation and handyman works.

Elysha is very nice to work with. She sent me quote with detailed breakdowns and gave me very specific advise on how to fix some problems in my house economically. She scheduled our work to start just in two days! During the work time, she came 2 times to check the working process and brought booked materials by herself. Whenever I had any questions or adds-on jobs, she was so patient and went through with me patiently. Her team Frank and Susan are very experienced and professional in what they are doing and are hard working people. I am very satisfied with my new bathroom, new basement pole, crown molding was repaired to its best result, shower door was fixed nicely....etc. We will definitely use this company again. I needed to add crown moulding to to existing areas in my living room and dining room. It was a difficult and intricate job. I found The Home Improvement Group on HomeStars and can attest to the professionalism and quality of their work. From the first time we met Kevin, the manager, we knew we were in good hands. Ironically I stumbled upon this company while browsing Homestars. Much like the previous reviews, I am quite happy with the services provided. The quotes were provided in a reasonable amount of time, Les provided additional information without hesitation and the team took their time to ensure the job was completed to perfection which it was.

George Hatz was absolutely the best individual I have ever worked with, everything was completed perfectly. The renovations are beautiful and definitely exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough about George and the excellent outcome of my project. He certainly deserves a 10 out of 10 rating.

I was looking for a company to do large renovations in our newly bought house but the works had to start within one months and be done 2 months later. Frank from The Home Improvement Group was very prompt to do the quote and was thorough in this process. The work was done on a timely manner. It was our first renovations ever and we had also to learn how to deal with all the inevitable issues that occur when you open walls. Frank did a great follow-up and always kept us in the loop. He dealt very efficiently with our ``asbestos crisis``, which delayed the work, even though no asbestos was found upon testing. The last Handy man, Kristaq Koka was exceptional and the quality of his work was outstanding. The only issues I would mention is that the plan of our new kitchen was not followed precisely, which created a few issues. So make sure that you use one of their designers so they will not claim the fault on your designer. There still are some problems with the kitchen, which annoys me but they are relatively minors. Altogether, I have been satisfied for their service and I would recommend them in the future. Therefore my high mark: 10/11 🙂
